Processing Sheep Manure into Organic Fertilizer Using Microorganism Fermentation in M-Bio Products

The purpose of this empowerment is to assist farmers in managing and processing unused sheep manure. Sheep manure that becomes waste will be directed to farmers to be used as manure. Waste management by making organic fertilizer is needed not only because of the demand for a comfortable environment but also because livestock development absolutely pays attention to environmental quality, so that its existence does not become a problem for the surrounding community. The use of livestock manure as a source of organic fertilizer greatly supports agricultural efforts ranging from vegetable plants, ornamental plants, and fruit plants. Many livestock manures found in livestock production centers have not been optimally utilized, some of which are simply thrown away, so that they often damage the environment with unpleasant odors that interfere with environmental comfort. Community service activities have increased the knowledge of farmers in the practice of making solid organic fertilizer using sheep manure.
